IT Infrastructure and Systems Architect
Our client is a rapidly expanding medical group integrating facilities across multiple Polish regions. Due to this intense growth, we are seeking a dedicated IT professional ready to take full ownership of the technology landscape.
This is a critical, hands-on strategic role where you will be solely responsible for designing, building, and standardizing the entire IT infrastructure for the group.
The core mission is to establish a unified, scalable, and highly secure technology foundation. This means driving all key decisions on architecture, networking, and cloud strategy. Crucially, the role involves selecting robust, value-driven solutions that ensure compliance and efficiency while making highly effective use of the company’s technological investment.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term IT infrastructure strategy that supports rapid business expansion and operational requirements
- Lead the full lifecycle of system deployment, from architectural blueprinting to hands-on installation of standardized networks, servers, and systems across all facilities
- Evaluate infrastructure needs and make definitive, cost-optimized choices regarding the optimal mix of on-premise solutions versus cloud adoption
- Select, justify, and procure appropriate, robust IT solutions, hardware, and software, emphasizing the strategic alignment, practicality, and long-term value of all chosen tools and platforms
- Oversee the successful integration of major new platforms, including specialized medical systems
- Take full ownership of the deployed infrastructure, ensuring its sustained security, stability, maintenance, and future scalability
- Work directly with local IT support staff at each site to ensure smooth implementation and compliance with new standards
What you’ll need to succeed
- Deep, practical experience in designing, deploying, and managing complex, multi-site network and server architectures
- Proven ability to analyze requirements and determine the most effective, scalable, and cost-conscious balance between cloud solutions and on-premise systems
- Experience selecting and implementing professional, hardware and software solutions appropriate for a growth-stage company
- A strong background as a technical leader and individual contributor capable of direct, hands-on implementation and problem-solving
- Exceptional communication skills are essential to influence and align diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical staff, on new standards and solutions
- Understanding of the need for high reliability and regulatory compliance (e.g., data security) in the medical or healthcare sector
