About the role:
Our client is a global leader in delivering software for the intelligent edge. The company’s technology has been powering the safest, most secure devices in the world since 1981 and is found in billions of products.
We are seeking an Embedded Software Developer to join a team that will certify that our client’s software is compliant with DO-178C DAL A requirements. The ideal candidate will be self-driven with embedded software development skills. A senior Professional Services Tech Lead will guide software development task assignments.
Some of the main responsibilities for the role include:
- Learn and support an AWS Kubernetes-based application, ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Update, build, debug, and test an existing source code base to comply with certification guidelines for safety and quality.
- Review source code against standards and style guidelines.
- Writing test procedures, unit testing and overall code hardening.
- Address unit test and Coverity tool issues
- Debug and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Job Skills/Requirements
– +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
– 3+ years of IT CloudOps experience supporting PaaS/SaaS environments.
– Strong experience and familiarity with public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP), with an extra emphasis on AWS.
– Networking knowledge (VPC)
– Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash/PowerShell/Node)
– GitHub Actions/YAML knowledge
– Some sort of configurations/infrastructure as code experience (Terraform would be ideal, Ansible can be taught, Flux would be a plus)
– Grafana knowledge would be nice
– AzDo Kanban experience would be a plus
– Rapid adapatibility
– Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and possess a high level of technical skills, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
