IT Project Manager (infrastructure/security)
Project – the aim you’ll have:
Our client, a leading managed services provider, is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of improvements to a private cloud infrastructure built for a governmental entity. The role involves managing a complex project aimed at enhancing cloud operations and processes.
As the Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with teams specializing in networking, virtualization, monitoring, and containerization to optimize Life Cycle Management (LCM) processes and address other critical improvements for the client. You will be responsible for managing relationships with various suppliers, as well as collaborating with teams from both Software Mind and the client’s organization. The role requires navigating a complex environment with multifaceted relationships between internal teams, suppliers, and the client.
- developing necessary contract and project documentation
- preparing, planning, and supervising IT projects areas of delivery, implementation, and integration of IT infrastructure and systems
- cooperating and coordinating works with various units of the organization with matrix structure and external partners
- ensuring that project deliverables address the scope and needs of the project and are within budget
- developing a communication plan and close relations with project stakeholders
- 8+ years in IT project management including 3+ years in the infrastructure/security area
- ITIL Certification
- fluency in English
- ability to work in our office in Warsaw at least 2 days per week
- ability to travel do our client’s office in the Netherlands once every two months
- ability to operate in an international environment and a matrix organization
- ability to communicate at different levels of the organization, including presentation of project status, reporting of work progress, financial aspects of the project, and communication with the project client
- excellent communication skills with top level management
