Platform Engineer (with Kafka expertise)

The company offers a wide range of games divided into three main categories: Lucky Games, Casino Games, and Betting Games. It emphasizes operating responsibly and contributing to a safe and secure gaming environment.
We are seeking a hands-on Data-as-a-Service Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and a solid background in cloud-native infrastructure. A background in Platform Engineering and a strong command of modern cloud-native tooling are essential.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Design, implement, and optimize our Kafka-based event streaming platform, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure, observability, and deployment workflows.
- Automate platform operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting.
- Contribute to the platform strategy, helping evolve our architecture as the business grows.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka (scaling, monitoring, fault tolerance, security, and data migration).
- Proven experience in Cloud & Kubernetes Management (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Operators, Service Meshes).
- Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Management & Automation using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Experience working with VPCs, API Gateways, and Load Balancers.
- Skilled in CI/CD pipeline development, ideally using GitLab.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, with the ability to build automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Monitoring & Logging solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong communication skills.
