Test Engineer
Project – the aim you’ll have
The project is located in the marine industry. We are working for a company which is delivering software for vessel management. Our software is working on more than 20 000 vessels. We are working in agile mode using scrum. Our sprint duration is two weeks, we have also planning meetings (dividing in english and polish part), refinment, retro, review and daily with customer. When someone joins our team, such a person have the possibility to work in an international environment with a very friendly customer and a well organized project. As a member of our team you will have a real impact on the project and technical solution. We are also open to your suggestions/ideas
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Developing and maintaining test scenarios
- Testing functionalities of desktop and web applications
- Cooperating with Developers and Product Owner
- Daily cooperation with English speaking customer
- Experience in application testing · Experience in writing test documentation
Expectations – the experience you need
- Fluent English (B2 or higher)
- Problem solving and can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
- Ability to work well within a team (team spirit)
- Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
- Experience in manual application testing
- Experience in writing test documentation
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/Sharepoint
- Knowledge of methodologies and testing principles (ISTQB)
- Accuracy, systematicity and the ability to think analytically
Additional skills – the edge you have
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience in working in the SCRUM model
- ISTQB certificate
