Engineering Manager

Position - how you'll contribute
- Lead and mentor engineering teams delivering mobile and web applications
- Partner with Product, UX, and Architecture to define roadmap and technical direction
- Ensure engineering quality, security standards, and best delivery practices
- Oversee architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical planning
- Support hiring, onboarding, and career development of engineers
- Manage delivery scope, priorities, and cross-team dependencies
- Drive performance, reliability, and scalability of digital products
- Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement
Expectations - the experience you need

- Proven track record managing engineering teams delivering mobile/web products
- Strong knowledge of cloud architectures (preferably AWS, serverless)
- Experience with secure authentication, APIs, and scalable systems
- Ability to translate technical strategy into execution plans
- Hands-on background with JavaScript/TypeScript, Mobile, or Backend engineering
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps culture
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- Focus on user-centric delivery, performance, and maintainability
Additional skills - the edge you have
- Experience working with Node.js, React, and mobile stacks (Swift/Kotlin)
- Exposure to platforms like Terraform, Cloudflare, Auth0
- Knowledge of analytics, experimentation, and event-driven systems
- Ability to support architectural reviews and business case proposals
- Experience running distributed or offshore engineering teams
- Familiarity with compliance, security standards, and performance KPIs
