Senior Back-end Software Engineer (Java & Infrastructure Focus)
Our client is a gaming company established to reform the national gaming system. Operating under the principle of exclusivity, its mission is to provide games responsibly, mitigate gambling-related risks, and ensure player protection while preventing fraud.
The Multiplayer Platform is currently in a post-MVP stage and is approaching its production release. While the core functionality is already in place, several features still need to be finalized, and performance optimizations are required. The key objective is to bring the platform to a fully production-ready state through productization.
Position – how you’ll contribute
As part of the team, you will be responsible for completing the remaining features and enhancing system performance to ensure the product meets production standards.
You will play a key role in preparing the platform for its initial customer release, focusing on reliability, scalability, and overall system quality.
Following the first delivery, you will continue contributing to ongoing product development, improvements, and maintenance.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Git
- Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts and experience with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab
- Experience with Gradle and Mermaid, or a strong willingness to quickly learn and adopt these tools
- Proactive, self-driven mindset
- Strong communication skills and a curious, problem-solving attitude
- Familiarity with Go and Redis, or willingness to learn
