Senior .NET Developer (German speaking)

The job is for the company that is building a platform to enable sharing documents and allow communication between company’s consultants and their clients looking for mortgage advice.

• Take ownership of the development and maintenance of backend services using .NET / .NET Core and C#, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work closely with internal client teams to design, build, and refine RESTful APIs and service components.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, share best practices, and help establish clean, maintainable, and testable codebases.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and support the integration of backend services with third-party systems.
• Document systems clearly and contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on both client and service sides, both in German and English.

• The ideal candidate should bring the following experience and mindset:
• Backend Expertise: Proven experience with .NET / .NET Core and C# for building and maintaining backend services.
• Data Handling: Strong command of SQL and Entity Framework, including performance tuning and data modeling.
• API Development: Solid experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.
• Scripting & Automation: Confident in writing PowerShell scripts for automation and configuration tasks.
• CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Architecture: Understanding of clean architecture principles and the ability to contribute to scalable, modular systems.
• Communication: Comfortable communicating technical topics clearly in both German and English.
• Tools in Use: To ensure smooth onboarding and seamless collaboration, the developer should have experience with or quickly ramp up on the following:
  Must-have:
  – .NET / .NET Core
  – C#
  – Entity Framework
  – REST APIs
  – PowerShell
  – SQL
  – Experience with build and deployment processes in Azure DevOps
• Ideally:
  – Experience with microservice architectures
  – Experience with RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus
  – Experience with Elasticsearch
  – Comfortable communicating with clients
  – Fluent communication in German and English

• Frontend knowledge in AngularJS and Angular 14
• Experience with Azure Cloud and Docker
