Junior Test Engineer
Project - the aim you'll have
To build a platform that enables document sharing and facilitates communication between a company’s consultants and their clients looking for mortgage advice.
Position - how you'll contribute
- Providing manual testing of web application
- Performing regression testing
- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
- Testing before release
- API testing
- Bug reporting
- Preparing test cases
- Re-testing after bug fixes
- Communicating with Head of Test, and other testers
- Performing management of test environments
Expectations - the experience you need
- 1+ year of experience in software testing of web-based applications
- English at B2 level
- Eager to learn with a technical mind-set
- A good understanding or experience with the project lifecycle and deployment of commercial web applications
- Experience in UI testing
- Experience in API testing
- Experience in performance testing using Jmeter or any equivalent tool
- Exposure to tools like Datadog, Jira, Bitbucket and GIT
- Experience with software tools for planning and tracking the workflow of test cases and new project work
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Additional skills - the edge you have
- Any related testing qualifications would be advantageous
- A passion for technology and experience using C#, SQL and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or VueJS.
- You may not have professional experience with cloud-based technologies, but they’ve got your interest and you’ve been known to dabble with them in your spare tim
