Senior Full-stack Engineer (Node.js)

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Full-stack Node.js Engineer to join our team and work with one of our inspiring US clients, a start-up developing an innovative platform for online speech therapy from the comfort of the patient’s home.

Expectations - the experience you need
- 5+ years of experience writing applications as a developer.
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js.
- Experience in Javascript (React.js).
- Professional experience with relational and non-relational database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
- Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based web applications (AWS preferred).
- Automated-testing of APIs.
- Proven knowledge of RESTful API design and use.
- Experience with microservice architecture.
What you will do
- Work directly with a product manager and a designer to develop new product features.
- Estimate overall timelines, risks, and requirements for development tasks.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Add to and maintain API documentation.
- Analyze and tune application performance with a focus on efficiency throughout.
- Be highly organized and self-driven to collaborate effectively with an all-remote team.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
